The Brucella FPA Test Kit for use in Bovine, Small Ruminants & Cervids uses Fluorescence Polarization technology designed to determine the presence of antibodies to B. abortus, B. melitensis, or B. suis in animal serum. The presence of antibodies is indicative of prior infection with Brucella abortus or vaccination with a smooth strain vaccine, such as Strain 19. Animals vaccinated with rough strain vaccine (e.g. RB 51) do no react positive in the test.

This test is exactly the same as our Brucella Abortus FPA test with the addition of package insert instructions for running tests on cattle, sheep, goats, swine, bison, and elk.

This kit is intended for use outside the United States. It is approved only for Bovine use in the United States. Permission for use in other animal species outside the United States is subject to local or regional regulations. Check your specific country regulations before use.

The test is sold in kits of 250 tests (Catalog Number 90400), 1,000 tests (Catalog Number 90401), and 10,000 tests (Catalog Number 90402) for use with high throughput plate instruments.
